Product Description

“Here I am again, here I am the only one again, and it’s a story that will never end...“Ebbot Lundberg, mastermind of The Soundtrack Of Our Lives (1994-2012) and Union Carbide Productions (1986-1993) is back. His new album is called "For The Ages to Come", which he has recorded together with his new band The Indigo Children. The five young lads make up Ebbot Lundbergs experiences and expressive power in a fantastic way. Ebbot, who in the meantime is 50-years old, is expressing his talent in impressive albums and concerts. With his experiences and enthusiasm he is taking The Indigo Children back into psychedelical spheres and reveals to us vital songs of the golden age of pop music. As a young band The Indigo Children were already supporting The Soundtrack Of Our Lives. Ebbot Lundberg and The Indigo Children is a symbiosis of young and hungry musicians and an extraordinary pop icon resulting in a perfectly cross-generational dialog.

On their debut release, Swedish artist Ebbot Lundberg (The Soundtrack Of Our Lives, Union Carbide Productions) and his new band play epic, post-psychedelic baroque pop with multiple guitars, vocal harmonies, and a folk-rock edge. The songs have a smooth, mellifluous feel that emphasizes the flow of melody and Lundberg’s welcoming vocal style. Acoustic guitars ring with a warm beauty that’s sometimes augmented by horns, strings, keyboards and synthesizers. The album includes a couple of obscure covers: One by the Spanish pop band Los Pekenikes and one by the Arizona garage band Spiders. (The lead singer for Spiders was Vincent Furnier, later known as Alice Cooper!) Mostly, though, “For The Ages To Come” is filled with music for chilled-out reflection on the mysteries of life. Nice.
