My 2 year old loves puzzles. This was the perfect size and great qualityMy kids love these puzzles. Super easy to use and can handle some rough play time.Absolutely love this. My toddler started on the two piece and slowly worked her way to the eight piece. It’s so fun and easy to do. Love it.These are awesome bright colors. These are a little too complex and frustrating for a two year old. So I suggest starting out with the two piece puzzle first and then work your way up to get him used to it. Do not give puzzles all at once otherwise will be huge frustration and fits because will try to put wrong puzzles together LOL my son is better now after having this for a month at putting the two piece puzzle together but the four piece puzzle is still a bit frustrating but he's trying to figure it out.Great puzzles! As you can read, the box consists of 4 puzzles:- the turtle, made of 2 pieces- the fish, made of 4 pieces- the octopus, made of 6 pieces- the whole scene, made of 8 piecesOn the back of each piece it is written the number of the puzzle, it is part of. For example "8", so that piece belong to the "whole scene" made of 8 pieces, or "4" so you know that that pieces is a part of the fish puzzle. It is actually useful to distinguish pieces from puzzle 6 from puzzle 8.My daughter (3 years old) can easily make all the puzzles up to 6, sometimes she needs some help with the 8 piece puzzle though. The quality is great and the design is cute. To be honest, I would have preferred having the "whole scene" different from the other three (so that it does not include the other three designs in it) because I think it could have been more interesting..but my daughter likes it and that's what matters. It is definitely good for either boys or girls.Kids will learn easily how to connect puzzleThis is the best introduction to jigsaw puzzles ever! Each animal progresses in difficulty until the the child reaches the level of putting it all together. As a former teacher and learning disabilities specialist, I could not have deigned a more perfect tool to teach the concept of jigsaws. Each individual animal puzzle is clear and uncluttered. The final 8 piece puzzle includes the same shapes and pictures simply joined together to include a more complex background and complete from picture. I would buy every single set in this series but for the exorbitant cost of the other sets available. $40 + for a child's cardboard puzzle set is too steep for me. However, I do believe the design in the development of these puzzles is priceless. It truly deserves the 2012 Seal of Excellence! However, if you are lucky you can find more of TLJ puzzles at TJ Max for a better price, and TLJ sells direct on line for a better price. Pays to shop around on this brand! Our toddler loves these. She now has two four-in-a-box puzzles, this one and a set of dinosaurs, and she likes both. The puzzles are big, bright pictures, and after a few tries she can do them on her own. They're marked on the back so she can sort which pieces go with which puzzle. They are made of thick cardboard; I'm sure you could damage them if you were rough enough, but they're pretty sturdy and we haven't had any problems with them. Would make a nice gift. These are actually really huge puzzles. I thought they would be small. My just turned 2 year old boy loves them and can do them all. Doesn't keep them occupied for long, but they're good quality and so is the box.Well made. Good puzzles for 2 year old, adult help needed with the more than 2 pieces. The Dinosaur pictures a big hit.A great jigsaw puzzle for little hands! Easy to sort into the different puzzles because the back is printed with the number (4 for the four piece puzzle, 6 for the six piece, etc.) - this is a fun number recognition activity, too. Would definitely recommend! This set is great to transition kids from wooden puzzles to regular puzzles. My daughter picked it up so quickly and at 2.5 started doing these ones on her own.Very happy with this puzzle set. The pieces are large and strong and the pictures come together perfectly for my toddler. We've played with these puzzles over and over again.
