My one quarrel is that these snap apart easily. My experience as a teacher, mother and grandmother is that things that snap apart easily are dissassembled, pieces lost, and quickly become mostly useless. But they are big and bright. They come with a shovel and a rake. I supervise my grands in the sandbox, and I can forbid taking them apart. That might be harder to do ordinarily. I wish they did not come apart, but I am sure they will be popular with the kids. I expect to need to replace them annually, however. Most of the time I try to buy toys that will outlast the youngest grandchild's desire to play with a toy. These will not likely do that.
