This thing is almost impossible to build. Some of the connections are so tenuous that the thing will fall apart if you look at it wrong. The only way I could get some parts to stay connected was to super glue them together. In addition to that, part fit is uneven at best. Some parts fit too loose, and others too tight. Colors are also inconsistent. Some grey pieces are darker than others, same with some of the red pieces.The instructions are horrible. Quite often when it shows you what to assemble, the picture used is at a bad angle such that you can't see where all of the pieces go. The numbers on the bags are meaningless, parts for each section are spread among multiple bags. I ended up just pouring all the pieces into a shallow box to sort through them.Most of the part replacements were ok, aside from being the wrong colors, with the exception of the bubble canopy. The substitution canopy is terrible. It doesn't fit where the original part would. I had to scrap the hinges entirely.Overall, it looks pretty good when assembled, but the sheer frustration you'll feel trying to get it assembled makes it not worth the effort. Don't even think about buying this set until they fix the issue with the bubble canopy, and even if they do fix that, still think twice before buying it.
